Corvette GTS???

A friend has just bought a corvette but i only have a few clues as to which is it, but cant work out which version he 's bought...just wondering if someone might be able to piece it together? he's not telling me anything more than...

Yellow
Convertible
V8
"Flappy paddle" auto
500bhp
0-60 under 4 secs

He also said its the GTS version but that doesnt seem to exist? It wont be brand new, so few years old.

Can anyone fill in the gaps and work out what version it is and a pic maybe?

Being a convertible means it's probably a Grand Sport.
Having the flappy paddles means it's probably a Grand Sport.
It will probably have a 6.2 litre, 430 horsepower engine, if it has 500 hp its been uprated.
As for 0 -60 it should be 3.8 secs and 12 secs quarter mile.

Are you sure he hasn't bought a VIPER GTS?
(Not sure if it comes with flappy paddle though)

Think I've got to the bottom of it. He's bought a 2008 C6 coupe LS3 (targa) with the Z51 package, in Yellow.

Not sure where the GTS came from as like it's been said, that's more Viper related!

Having now driven it and chatted more about it I think he got his spec a bit confused. Still bloody quick though!!
