Hi All,

I have a 2001 Corvette C5 in millenium yellow.

It has 74k miles and has the standard 5.7l v8.

In very good condition and a few mods/extras.

It has sport seats, f45 electronic suspension, heads up display

Has a sports exhaust and bbk air induction kit and lots of chrome parts under the bonnet.

Faults as all cars have them:

Age related marks to bodywork (no rust/dents)
The common Oil pressure sender is faulty

I was just wondering what it would be worth?

Cheers

Quite high mileage and non standard mods.

Hi
That looks pretty clean mate. Think ringram is about right for me mainly down to mileage.

I don't mind mods,if you do put it up for sale people may want the wing removed , bit marmite that one.

Question is that a corsa touring exhaust ? Do you have the stock exhaust ?

If that's yes to both I would be interested in buying it, can understand if it`s a hassle for ya

Just saying biggrin

I agree about the wing on it deffo whip that off.
Mileage I cant agree on as that only averages just over 6k a year,
not a lot by any real car standards.
I used to have a 2001 coupe in yellow myself, was very nice in the 4 years I had it.

Having owned C5s for over 11 years, I've never heard of a failed oil pressure sender - I don't think it's a common fault. It's a $50 part that takes about an hour to fix so I can't see it selling with iffy oil pressure readings. Fixed, I'd guess at £10k/12k tops.

I had a failed oil pressure switch on my 2001 convertible (the black one). I was told by Ian Goss it is a bugger to change as it is under a piece of the bodywork (not removable)by the wipers, although that is hidden under another piece of removable body trim. It is an engine drop or a 'chop job' of drilling through the piece of bodywork (which is subsequently hidden) to replace it. I sold mine unrepaired with the part supplied and it is still running fine around Surrey.

Far as I know just remove intake manifold to get to the oil pressure switch.

Think NAPA do a non gm switch which is bullet proof .
Cheers

Colin, if we are talking about the same thing, then I think Ian may have got it wrong. Dave's correct....................
