Finally managed to wash the Vette tonight. It was in need of a good clean after it's 2,436 mile road trip through Europe. First stopping off at Luxembourg for a weekend for their Corvette meet, then down through Germany and Austria to Cortina in Italy and then on to Lake Garda and Modena for the Italian Vette and Camaro meet. This was the 2nd road trip we've done in it since we've had it. It managed two 1000km drives in one go while still leaving us fresh, a number of mountain passes, 190mph on the autobahn, a track day at Modena and put up with the really ste standstill traffic around Milan that lasted for hours. All that whilst still providing plenty of room for all our luggage. How many other cars are there that can do all this?

Now sorting through all those photos and videos....

Similar trip here Brett.
We only managed 152mph on the autobahn on our 2105 mile round trip.
The car never missed a beat and returned 27 mpg in the process.

They are a great motor.

We also did part of the same trip. 2,000 miles in 10 days with Corvette meetings in The Netherlands and Luxembourg. When we got home and unloaded the car, this is what we found inside it (and there was room for more).

30mpg, goes like stink, no aches after some lengthy stints and loads of room.

Exactly why my wife loves our Vette, it can easily swallow two suitcases and more besides and for me the most comfortable long distance fast touring car I have ever had.

Really ? Blimey thought hat would have been left as is due to the uniqueness of it and rareness factor, hmm not sure that was the right move ? I know they were not to everybodies taste but sure thought they should have stayed ?
