C7 Coupe $51,995
C7 Convertible $56,995

Sounds like bargain of the century for a 450BHP 30MPG lightweight rocket.

That compares well with the current list of $49,600 for base C6.

Let's hope the pricing doesn't come over all idiotic by the time it gets to Europe....

Pleasant surprise. I was told to expect $60k.

Not to be the eternal pessimist but I doubt they'll be selling for that for some time given the level of interest in the US. I expect Euro pricing to be competitive given pricing of Camaro versus grey imports.

I have heard stories that it may be designated L88 though that may be a red-herring. It will be very interesting but it could also be 2016MY due to initial interest in the standard Coupe and Targa.

GM has also just re-applied for the LT-5 trademark!

LT5 I would guess will be the Supercharged LT1 motor for the C7 ZR1.

There was also talk of using the L88 name again maybe for a normally aspirated 7.0L C7 Z06 replacement motor? OR the L88 instead of the ZR1 name?

I have always been a mustang man in personal preference but I would love to add this to my garage and am seriously considering it. the only part that I dislike about the looks of this car is the rear valance looking very 'halfords'. If it was matched in colour to the car this would be ok i think, just strange they didn't think when looking at the car that the back end looked silly like this

I think I'm the only person alive save for one or two GM designers that actually like that valance. hehe

I do plan on replacing it with some carbon though, and it'll look better once it's got a number plate etc on.
