Corvette C4 on Wheeler Dealers
Discussion
I remember that Vette also made an appearance on the CCCUK forums with its subsequent owner, not the one shown on the show I might add!?. One of his comments IIRC is that the bills he had for the bits 'n' pieces didn't really seem to tally up with the program!
EDIT: Found the '06 thread started by the guy with the other Vette in the show..The new owner pops up on page 2

Just did a quick video search on google for 'Corvette Wheeler Dealer' and it came up with the 3rd part of 4 of the programme (with German subtitles).....
You are a better internet searcher than me Pete . Had another go and came up with this (all 4 parts on there). Think the subtitles on this one are either Danish or Swedish? Mike Brewer certainly seemed to like it.http://www.streetfire.net/videos/tag/wheeler-deale...
I was interested to see the latest Wheeler Dealers this week where they fixed up a TVR Cerbera. It was a late 1990s car about the same age and price new as my C5 Corvette.
My C5 was sold last year for about £13k after 13 years of use (very little maintenance) and still in virtually "as new" condition.
The Cerbera done by Wheeler Dealers was bought for £8,000 with very nice bodywork and interior. Unfortunately they found the chassis was completely rusted out and the suspension was knackered. After a massive restoration project taking hundreds of hours and quite a bit of cash the car was sold for a small margin over what they spent - clearly a thumping loss after labour - and for about the same price as my C5.
And the moral of the story is? Modern Vettes are darned fine cars!

This chap has done a bit of TVR/Vette "mixing & matching" (Sagaris with LS7 engine). Interesting combo.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sZHqjUTdls
