Car Fax

Can anybody here run a car fax ? looking at a 2009 SRT 8 Challenger to replace my Mustang, never ran one on my Mustang but wondered if it is possible to do if i feel the need ?

Was it brought here as a new or used car. If it was new there isn't going to be much point.....

I beleive it was brought in second hand as the tax is £220 but i will find out a bit more

Have you asked on the Corvetteforum.com ? They ran a couple for me recently as you pay for unlimited searches over a set period for your money.

The taxation class does not make any difference to whether it was brought in as a new or used car. As an import it will fall into that taxation class regardless. When was it first registered in the U.K.?

If you can't get any help on the Corvette Forum simply go and register yourself at carfax.com. You will need to bang in a ZIP code to prove you're in the US, but just get one from any website. I used the age old classic 90210 and it worked for me (this was 5 years ago though) Also, you may have to use a credit card, rather than a debit card as (IIRC) the software detects that a debit card is not registered in the US
