Anyone gone from GT3 to Z06?
Discussion
When I had my Z06 my best mate had a GT3 RS orange one..
On the track they where very similar although we did notice how much lighter the Z felt and had much better brakes.
On the road the Z was not as forgiving much lighter on the back end so tended to get out off Shape much easier .
Normal driving touring sort off stuff then the corvette seemed to be better in most areas, loads more luggage space, more comfortable, higher ground clearance, and slightly better on fuel at motorway speeds. In towns about the same.
Air con on GT3 was awesome but sat navgot lost all the time even in Germany
And I suppose the corvette costs a big chunk less..

Very interesting, especially the Z feeling lighter/better brakes. I always think of Vette and Porsche owners/enthusiasts as very dedicated to their respective marques and in general wouldn't think of switching. Obviously, some people like changing their cars quite frequently and/or have several and like the different experiences. Previous owner of the C6 I bought this year (he wasn't very helpful) said he traded it in on a 996 Turbo. Wonder if he is happy?
