A few thoughts... The rendering looks way too low at the front, and there will almost certainly be more fresh air between the wheels and arches. Also, based on the spy shots of convertibles (showing a roofline pretty much identical to a C6 or indeed a C5), the rear wings are too high (and if you look closely the renderings of the left and right sides are slightly different!).

I love it! Think it looks better than Ferrari F12/458, F-Type Jag, McLaren, Lambo or Aston, including the "new" Vanquish I had a quick peek at at the local dealer the other day. What else is there?

Camaro back end, C6 front.. Hmm.

In theory with full exhaust and perhaps intake it might hit the 505 of the C6 Z06 in base form. Now that would be good!
Save $30k off the price of a Z06.
Im betting the engine is detuned and could wipe the floor with the z06 if they wanted it to.
We shall see. Apparently torque is basically the same as the Z06. Which suggests they are strangling the airflow to reduce BHP.
The throttle body is smaller than the 6L LS2 from 2005! The cam is also much smaller 200/206 IIRC as opposed to 211/230 for Z06.
Intake looks excellent. Tall ports for a straight shot in. I wonder if there is enough meat in the intake to pop a larger diameter on it..

It looks amazing except from the rear, those lights are hideous, if it had the C6 rear lights it'd be MUCH nicer, the black "eye shadow" looks silly and the diffuser needs to be black at the very least, carbon ideally but I guess that will follow on the sportier models.
I prefer every aspect of it over my Z06 except that rear, it's like they spent ages on the rest of the car then just gave up when they got to the rear and went for a KFC.

Agree about the rear lights. I said above that it looks better than a Ferrari F12 (IMHO). I meant the Ferrari FF (the "breadvan" back end one). Don't think it look better than the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta (IMHO). Just as good? Some similar styling cues/features there?

. Xmas is the season of goodwill to all men. How about stopping "slagging-off" Corvettes for a while, even if it is just for a few weeks? You could do multiple crashes of the new C7 on your Playstation if you need to work off some frustration over the holiday period?
