There was an ad on PH until recently - a black car with very nice aftermarket black alloys (guy reckoned they'd cost £7k or something). Does anyone know if it sold? Anyone know the car? Possibly it's time to buy another one...

I too was wondering where it has gone as I thought it was just spot on, waiting for my lotto numbers to come up but it has dissapeared off ph, as it has dissapeared I guess it didn't sell, I am hoping that's the case so when the numbers come up I can go get it, I have been searching everywhere to find it but it has dissapeared :-(

The add expired along with mine last week. I re-listed mine. He obviously didn't or doesn't know it expired.

If you want to look like a drug dealer - go for it!

Totally depends what you want to us it for, the Z06 is in my mind an awesome piece of kit that is happy doing the shopping run as it is scaring you on the track, the Ultima is an awesome bit of kit too but i wouldnt want to leave it in an Asda car park if you know what mean, if its just a second or third car then go for the ultima but if its something you want to get more use out of its got to be the Vette biggrin, i am going to be selling my daily runner mustang soon and would love to go for the Z06 (although a bit out of reach for me at that price) as it is to me a fantastic bit of kit but i need more seats (3 kids and a wife) so going to go the Challenger direction i think. Whoe ever gets it i will be very envious as i think it is the nuts

Looking at that one and the black one in Bauer Millets I personally would
go for the BM one, 2007 and lower miles and stock.
Admittedly the wheels are very nice tho.

I saw the black one the other day at Bauers, it's very nice. Not quite as nice as the one I rocked up in but still nice smile

Dealing drugs in an Ultima - now that I would like to see biggrin Are you sure you know the car I mean?

Yes, the Z06 would be a 3rd car - as would the Ultima so no issues regarding practicality really. It's the 0-100 mph in <6 seconds (tweaked LS7) it's hard to dismiss. I've owned a Z06 before and do miss it badly.

Yeah, it's those rims. Must be the Essex boy in me.

question if you don't mind, you have the US rear lights on (I much prefer them to the euro ones), are your rear indicators in the reverse lights?

and again...wanna sell the wheels? smile

Did the HUD problem and error code get sorted on his car?

Not trying to talk you out of the sale but you soon get used to the width and the power just needs a disciplined right foot...

Well forked out 2 grand and widened the garage that helped, power wise not a issue last car I had was over 700bhp anyway so it's not that. Just can not live with the LHD and width thing for some reason, took it out again today and same issue it's just not for me one of those mad moment buy's over the phone with mates and sadly a few drinks were involved at the time.
All the codes are sorted ended up been a fuel tank pressure sensor, TPMS is sorted just needed re learning that's all, but still can not get the HUD to work and deffo not the fuse not had time to get stuck in and not really bothered present to be fair. Either way it's back in the garage at least far easier now the door is done. smile
