There is what looks like a beautiful car for sale in the classics section of Ebay-the ad states that there is only one such car in this country. Is that right?

Yes probably true but that isn't to stop anyone else modifying a Z with the Lingenfelter mods if they wanted too. If you want a really lairy Z06 then this is worth checking out.

In the true sense of the word it isn't really a Lingenfelter Z06 as in it's just had some Lingenfelter bits bolted on (as it rightly says in the ad). Now a Lingenfelter Z06, ie one that left their workshop would be very rare. I don't know of any over here and have only ever seen one on my travels and that was in Germany.

Yes I think it is but this car wasn't anyway near thrashed by its original owner to death like David's...
