Yeah it's a good car. Owned by well known people in the club. A lot of those miles were done on French motorways. Good buy IMO. You won't find much better.
Goto www.corvetteclub.org.uk and ask there too, you'll get the same answer I've just given you.
Owner one upgraded to C6 Z06 and would have maintained it regardless of cost (owned his own garage)
Owner two upgraded to C6 convertible
Owner 3 I know but don't know why he's selling. It was loud but I believe he put the much quieter stock exhaust back on it.

Note this looks like a Euro car with US reversing lights added next to the rear number plate (the cut-outs are already there) and the Euro reversing lights left in plkace as well.
If I bought that car I'd keep the US reversing lights and change the Euro reversing light units to become a second set of indicators. Lamp units shouldn't be too hard to find on ebay or elswhere.

Second owner here..
This C5 purchased from Germany in 2001 by first owner as new. Wanted for nothing during its time with both first and second owner ( both Classic Corvette club reps ) . All the small usual C5 fixes have been attended too including, Headlamp motors rebuilt 2011 with brass gears inlieu of plastic.
Faded aircon digital read-out due to lead free solder at factory. Rebuilt.2011
Steering column lock fix ( GM recall )
Mobil 1 and new filters each 6k mls.
New tyres all round March this year.
I gather stock exhaust has been put back on by 3rd owner.
Extensive maintenance / MOT records are with the 3rd owner.
Never been on a track day.
What's not to like? you sure as hell will not loose sight of it in a car park!!
Good car. in fact an excellent car.

are the euro cars same road tax as a u.s version
US Imports are banded as (something like) more than 1.6 litres, irrespective of C02 output so the VED is around £220 per yearEuro models (with a European CofC) are banded according to C02 output. As the C5 kicks out a "healthy" 292g, it is in band OMFG! (>255g/km) However, as the car in the advert pre-dates 23rd March 2003, it is probably currently subject to a VED moratorium and is capped in band K or £265 per year. All this info available on DVLA site
