Servicing Costs in the Middle East
Discussion
The service schedule should be in the back of the owners manual. For a C5 it's
15,000 miles (24,000k) clean air filter, especially if dusty conditions - that's you.
30,000 miles (48,000k) replace air filter. Inspect fuel tank, cap and lines for damage or leaks. Inspect fuel cap gasket for any damage. Replace parts as needed.
45,000 miles - I can't imagine your there in Qatar (unless you imported the car)
Also change engine oil per engine oil life monitor (or every 12 months whichever occurs first).
You're supposed to do your own checks on oil level, coolant level, tyre pressure etc.

The car has covered 11,000 miles since it was bought in 2010 so far the servicing has just been annually. I priced up a set of discs and pads (front and rear) and I can buy high performance ones from someone like brembo overseas and have them shipped to Qatar for half the price of going to the dealer and getting the OEM ones here.

New disks in 11k?
haha no, they are still like new on my car, I just wanted to price a typical part that is subject to wear and tear to see how the pricing here compares to bringing the bits in from overseas...and judging by the pricing of the brakes it turns out to be alot cheaper to import the bits!Gassing Station | Corvettes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
