I've already posted on the Club site about meeting at South Mimms (in plenty of time to leave at ten!) and I'll also be at Langley before that for the Thames Valley boys and girls!

I mentioned to Mary at the Fairmile on Tuesday whether they would meet there and then go on to South Mimms and she thought they would?

I'll email her, my lot and and the other
reps this week to let them know. Also we'll be coming in via the A1M, A505.as its more Vette friendly!

Am Coming from North Kent and live near the bridge, so will be taking in 3 tunnels, including the two on the north section of the M25. Will be in another 1990 ZR-1. What time at South Mimms?

Nothing to do with being tight Cinders, but most people will go one day only and used to paying a fiver. You would be surprised how much a gate fee increase puts people off. You could argue an 50% effective increase is nothing compared to the petrol vistors will use just getting there but there are nowt stranger than folk. wink

By the way, what mpg are you getting out of yours now it's got a few miles on it?

It hasn't been a fiver for a few years now, basically the main show in on the Sunday which cost a tenner a car and if you turn up for the Saturday as well then it's still only a tenner

We will be going on Saturday through to Sunday. A friend from Sweden will also be joining us Sat evening and Sunday with his red Z06 with a wing on the back. So if you see him walking about go and say hello. His name is Benny and he speaks pretty good English wink

I believe your details will be held at the gate so no tickets will be posted. Kerensa isnt 100% sure on that but that is what she thinks was arranged.

Just noticed that the drive leading into the venue does have speed humps that look evil, especially the first one past the gate, which show plenty of gouge marks. Is this going to rip out the exhaust system from my lowered Vette, or do I have to take the 4x4?

Yes there are speed bumps but u should be ok. The committee have had several meetings there already this year. Access to the show field was the biggest issue and that has been sorted.

There have been a few car meets there before. Look in the event section of PH.

If you have not recieved the Cruise-in details for Langley tomorrow they are as follows... Meet at 8.45am in the Service Road on the London Road next to the Toby Inn Carvery (SL3 8PS.) just off the M4 Junction 5 @ Langley. SL3 8PS

Leave Langley promptly at 9.00am to arrive at South Mimms Services (M25) for 9.30am (approx).
See you there.

Jonny Benns from Holland is travelling over too and is trying to also join us at Langley for the cruise. I'll be there at 8:45am.

Right then, back to the polishing... cool
