Calling all Surrey, Kent, Sussex, Thames Valley - any Corvette owner....

This will probably be the last DRY SUNNY (we can only hope) day to have a nice drive down to Cheddar Gorge in our lovely Corvettes. The route set up by Alan of Thames Valley region is superb, great driving roads and the views at Cheddar are fantastic.

Let’s try and get at least one good cruise in for the summer!

Alan has done all the organising – who’s up for making it a real good day out Sunday week?

This is a copy of an email sent out by Simon (Thames Valley & CCCUK PR MAIN MAIN)

Hi All,

Alan Lewis has confirmed the details of the Cheddar Gorge Cruise.

When:

Sunday 9th September

Surrey Mob: Meet at Mercedes World at 7:45 (car park to the left of main building) leaving for Newbury services at 8:00am

Meet at M4 Newbury Services 08:45 leave 09:00 to arrive Cheddar Gorge 10:45.

Details

Enjoy a wander round the Gorge, visit the Caves, have a coffee or if you are feeling energetic take the climb to the top and enjoy a magnificent view into the Gorge. If you are not feeling quite so energetic then you could always go for a game of crazy golf!

Leave around 1:30 and head off for lunch at 2:00. After lunch head back home.

NOTE! If you wish to have lunch can you please let Alan know ASAP - alan.lewis.21@gmail.com - so that he can finalise those arrangements!

I've already put my name down for the Cruise and the lunch so I hope to see some of you on the 9th. You can also sign up to the event Here on Facebook as well.

Many thanks to Alan for putting this together, it should be a great day.

Regards

Simon Stevens

All, I am finalising lunch arrangements today. As we are a large group it is likely that we will have to pay a deposit to the restaurant. If that is the case then I will let you all know and you can each contact the restaurant direct. Could you please confirm if you want lunch and let me know if you have any special dietarry requirements.
Should be a great day out
