Certain aspects look very Nissan GTR. I dont like the Camaro type back lights. Great on the Camaro. But looks rather naff on this Vette mock up.

I think it has some great design cues, the way the bonnet (sorry hood) flows, the lights over the rear arches, the front wing (fenderrolleyes) air vent etc. Has a mix of GTR and 599 in there somewhere and not a massive leap forward from the C6. Which is fine by me because it won't make my recent purchase look pre-historic and if Porsche can get away with it on their 911 and Boxter, so can Corvette.....

If the video was supposed to be a representation of what Jalopnik have rendered then I think it was poor. They haven't captured the rear well at all and robbed it of its size and presence.

You're right Mitch, I can't see any well either. Besides, where the hell would you put the extra wheels?

Wishful thinking? wink

I'm not a huge fan of the C6 though it has grown on me slightly in Z06 form.

I don't like this, not because I don't like it per se but because it doesn't say "This is a Corvette", it says "borrowed design cues from elsewhere". I know there comes a point where you have to break with tradition to attract new buyers (like the Jag XF and XJ) but you need to bring something new to the party, not recycle designs like the Japanese tend to do.

I am sure safety a nd legilation limit what can be achieved but I don't see this attracting anyone who would just buy a GTR.
