Taken from a CCCUK forum post, anyone know?

[quote="groovyjay";p="93198"]Hello all,
anyone out there with HP TUners? We (the Finnish Corvette Caravan) are coming to Dover tomorrow night, but we are willing to travel for it if necessary. We have one of the C2's retrofitted with LS1 and it's running really really rich and all kinds of codes are showing up.

Does anyone know if Claremont Corvette or Corvette Kingdom have the tools to tune LSX engines?

Thanks

Jani

Monkfish were the first people to come to mind but try the link below as there are some dealers on the south coast that will be close to you when you land, got this from the wortec website

Greg at Protuner can also do it, but with efilive.
Both tools are similar at a high level.

I use HP Tuners for my supercharged LS1.

Assuming you have constant fuel rail pressure 58psi.
Assuming you have stock injectors 26lbs
Are you running a wide band or do you measure AFR at the exhaust?
Open or closed loop? Are the fuel trims making the adjustments via the oxygen sensors?

I'll probably be at the Surrey meet on Wednesday night 4 July. I can bring the laptop to demo but I only have a single VIN licence. If you've got a copy of your programme you can compare to a stock file (download of HPTuners).

Half the time people doing conversions dont connect the sensors properly.
IAT defaults to -60*C from memory, which would make it rich. Also they put the MAF in a bad location on on a bend etc.
So for starters the best is to do a scan and see what codes come up. There are probably a load, fix all the install errors, then worry about the tune at the end. Assuming its an OEM engine it shouldn't be the tune.

As mentioned rail pressure and injectors need to be right too. People swap injectors and dont rescale the calibration to suit.

Here is Greg's details http://www.protuner.co.uk/

Someone should be able to help him out.
