Nice, good value, Z06 in classifieds?

I'm surprised this hasn't sold yet...

Oh, and it's got PFADT coil-over suspension according to what I gleaned from some of the seller's old forum posts. I know it's a bit of a ball-ache given it's in the IoM, but with the scarcity of good, no stories, Z06s in this country these days, I'm just a little surprised it hasn't found a buyer yet?

According to his own website the car is used for more than just e few drag races.

Wouldn't be my first choice.

I think cars made in 2008 or later will keep their value better because the smoother gearbox(t6060 unit). Great car any ways. Please correct me if I am wrong about the gearbox.
You are correct, 2008 model year onwards do use the new 6 speed and they are chalk and cheese if you compare pre-2008. I drove several 06/07 ZO6's and the box was as bad as my early C6, notchy bulky and pretty horrible. The 2008 made such a difference you could almost (almost) compare the slickness and accuracy to a Porker or BMW box.Hi, thanks for looking at the advert.
The car has been up the drag strip a few times, not seriously as I have not done any burnouts etc. Our strip is an old airfield so not the last word in sophistication. Each to their own of course, but I have made sure that the car is fully maintained because of this.
I understand the later gear boxes are better but can't say I've ever had a problem with the earlier one, it's less notchy than my BMW 1 series!
ETA, the suspension is standard now as I had it put back on before sale, if anyone wants a set of Pfadt coilovers and sway bars PM me.

The 2008 's also had the facelift console etc amongst other things. When I was looking it had to be 2008 or later.
You are right there too. You can fit the upgrade centre console for about $400ish (probably more now, I am talking 4 years ago and the exchange rate was much better). It makes a hell of a difference internally as the original silver finish is really cheap looking. (With apologies to all those that haven't changed their's)!K2MDL said:

On the C6, I'd be inclined to agree, but on the Z06 it seems to be a slightly darker silver and looks better. Wouldn't say it looks cheap, but agree the 2008+ centre console is an improvement.Raitzi said:

Indeed. I recently swapped the t56 in my car for a tr6060 via PWP for a good price. The boxes dont compare the old t56 sucks.
