Morning all,

I think this question has been asked before, but couldn't find it quickly...but does anyone know any good body repair shops in the South West London (Surrey) area, and also alloy wheel repairs? Unfortuately dinged the side of the bumber of my C6 the 2nd week of owning it back in '09, and haven't had it worked out yet. Got a quote from Ian Goss, but wondered if there were any recommendations (does anyone have any experience of the work Ian does for body repairs?). My alloys are also a bit scraped up so thinking of doing those as well (no longer parking the car on the street, so figure it's safe to get them redone!).

Finally, wanting to finish off this work with a spot of detailing - looked at a few 'Dodo Juice' authorised dealers, but anyone used one that they'd recommend?

Any suggestions/recommendations would be greatfully received!

Cheers

St. George's coachworks in Camberley. Call and ask to speak to Tracey (he's a bloke) he should be able to help you on the bodywork. Regarding wheels there are two places I nave used one in Weybridge and the other in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire!

The one in Weybridge was many years ago so not sure they are still there but it was Demon Wheels I think but you would need to check.

We have a very good relationship with the Wheel Specialists branch in Manchester and they have done other powdercoating work for me too. A good, professional outfit. As far as polished wheels go Gary, unless you've had subsequent success we have managed to recover some light marks with the WS but over time the repair still degrades. You end up painting them and going for the closest thing to a polished finish.

Wheelworks in Crawley was recommended by a CCUK member (AC-M) in the Xmas 2011 Vette News (see article). Also, Lepsons (an old established company I think) in Swindon & Gillingham? They were recommended to me by a guy who had his very complex looking/2 colour finish 20" wheels on his Audi A5 coupe repaired/refurbed by them.
