New Corvette or new Cadillac?

I would love to see this Caddy be made into production. give the new Vette a run for it's money. But I would still love to have a XLR.

Given the platform sharing, isn't this similar to the VAG situation? £15K for a Skoda versus £25K for an Audi becomes £70K for a Vette versus £90+K for an XLR... I'll stick with the Vette, but some will pay extra for something perceived to be "better" or because they prefer the style. Of course, if the XLR once again gets lower performance for more money then the style versus substance balance shifts even further!
Good assessment of all the 2012 Corvettes here,

Sounds as though ZR1 is the only one with a question mark over whether it's worth paying all the extra money; Z06 and Grand Sport seeming the favouritese.
