Just picked up my 2010 C06 with just 17 klms on the clock. It has sat in a local dealers for 12 months since an order was cancelled.
I work for a sister company and they gave it to me at cost with zero percent finance, so I have paid GBP33,600 for the car.
Petrol is no problem either as I live in the Middle East and it costs about 16ppl.
Took the kids out for a quick spin and the wife went around the block, I`m just waiting for the traffic to die down then I`m going for a thrash.
I will post pictures tomorrow. I am a happy man!
Now to save up for the induction kit and sports exhaust.

Often looked in the window at the rather forlorn Vettes when driving under the Jaidah Flyover on the way to the Pearl.
What colour - I'll look out for it?

Confused!

Is it a Z06 or a C6?

Either way looking forward to seeing the photos and welcome smile

Thanks for the comments.
Yes the Corvette & Camaro car center is a bit dated in Doha but hopefully they will have a new place soon.
I love the car, Its a bit of a head turner and I have been amazed here that people actually smile when they see it and I have even been let out at a junction here which is unheard of in Doha.
Just a shame there`s no corners here in Qatar as the only time the G meter gets a reading is at roundabouts.

The car is a standard C6 with Sat Nav, Leather dash and HUD. I don't know the standard specs are for UK cars but it has lots of toys to play with.
The only down side is there's no AUX for listening to my Iphone so I may buy a aftermarket system with AUX, Bluetooth and Nav but that's another GBP550 plus the Air filter & Sports exhaust its getting a bit expensive.

Considering this time last week I had not even thought about buying a Corvette I may get a bit of hassle from the wife if I do buy the add on`s now.

If any one else is in Qatar message me if you fancy meeting up.

Cheers
Nick

You could be the perfect stranger
You could be from Illinois
Come around here courting danger
Making all that noise
