C5 Wanted 99-02 Automatic

Anyone know of or thinking of selling a 99-02 C5 Auto must be Euro spec only and nice miles. I have a friend ready to buy just looking to find the right car for them not bothered if it's a coupe or conv.

Almost every Euro spec. C5 had the sports seats as far as I can remember. We certainly hardly ever saw one without.....mileage is nice.

Almost every Euro spec. C5 had the sports seats as far as I can remember. We certainly hardly ever saw one without.....mileage is nice.

Every car sold was with sports seats as standard in the UK as B pack cars the A pack was the basic seats and No HUD. I have never seen one for sale. The non sports seat cars are the US spec imports. The red one looks nice on e-bay

Interesting, I have only ever had one A pack car, the first I ever bought, I have never had a US spec car (apart from C5 Z06's) and don't remember the Euro's having sports seats.
It could of course just be my memory playing up..........

B pack cars had 3 parts to the seat. and the Word Corvette in the seat.

I'd forgotten the whole A pack/B pack thing. Quite a memory Rob....

Has a car been found yet? Are there any not sold that could be shipped to New Zealand? I'm finding them top dollar here and appears much cheaper to import one from the US and quite possibly the UK (due to exchange rates and my sterling bank balance). Also I have a bit more trust in the Corvette world on PH than an unknown in the US, I've been looking at corvetteforum.com. However, should a trustworthy US car be known about then let me know.

I keep asking myself, is a potential saving of at least GBP10,000 worth the hassle and risk of importing or keep waiting and the right one at the right price, in the right country, will turn up
