I am taking the Vette down to the Le Mans Classic this year and have seen that track discovery laps are available for around £150 for two laps.

As anyone done this, is it worth it?

Are these just parade type laps where you slowly follow the car in front or can you go around at a decent pace?

Does anyone know if these can be purchased separately or do they have to be bought as part of a package.

Thanks

I am doing that too!

Can't answer with any authority, I was told the only rule is you can't overtake. With a corvette only lap, I wouldn't have thought people will be driving miss daisy.

See you there! Which one is yours?

I will be in a C6, although I am in a mixed group I think, haven't received the details yet.
It was an option with the company we booked the trip through, it appears that they purchased some laps and sell them on to their customers.

I have watched a few clips on You Tube of various 2010 track laps since my original post and there seems to be quite a bit of overtaking.
It looks to become a little congested at corners on some laps but looks fun, looking forward to it.

I have been told its more than a bit chaotic getting on track and you just go for it when you get the chance.
looking at your profile you seem to have quite a choice of Corvettes which one are you taking?

Unfortunately I have sold the Z06 and a 1990 I had (in Dubai) so the only one left in England is the 68 with the big block. So this will be its shake down run after the rebuild.

Look forward to seeing you.
