Just passed! No advisories.

Took it in early to avoid the end March advisories - needn't have bothered.

Most of the new rules are effective from 1st Jan with no advisories. A few of the new rules come in 1st April and they are advisory now.

Column lock - advisory now.
Things like abs, traction control - all they do is check that the light comes on at the dash when ignition turned on and then goes off after 2-5 seconds (in other words you can't take out the bulb or fuse).
Tyre pressure sensors – must work if fitted on cars used after 1 Jan 2012. I was told this means cars effectively registered after 1st Jan 2012 (which won’t be due for an MOT until 2015 – they are not moving to 4-2-2)

When the car is logged onto DVLA at start of test it prints out a series of checks specific to the car – so there were very few for mine.

That's useful info'. Mine's due in April so I'm planning to make sure it's done before the end of March for good measure.

Do you have the printout from start of test with all the relevant tested item details? If so, it would be good if you can post a scan.
