The 2006 online manual (here: http://gmpartshouse.com/downloads/manuals/corvette... tells me the HUD page function cycles between oil temperature, coolant temperature and oil pressure. Mine, however, appears to show the engine oil *level* instead of the oil pressure??

This may be a dumb question...but what makes you think it's showing oil level rather than oil pressure? I checked the 2008 manual just in case the 2006 manual hadn't caught up with some Z06-specifics, but it still shows the same 3 options as your 2006 manual (and my C6 HUD definitely goes through those options + transmission temp as it's an auto).

I don't recall the HUD displaying oil level, though I'm not next to a car to check what it does give. I only recall oil pressure and temperature....

Is it not just the fact that the symbol is an oil can, which leads you to believe its level rather than pressure - I fell for that one when I first got my car.

You may be right. I thought it was oil level as the reading doesn't appear to change but stays on the 3/4 line permanently.

Oil pressure isn't the best parameter to watch on the Head-Up as its calibration is not particularly informative. When it's cold the reading is pretty much max and when warm it is always around 3/4's. Besides, the road is worth watching more than that! wink

I guess it's pressure then. Agreed - not very necessary on a HUD.

On another note mitch, how long should I give these G:2s before I see how many Gs they can pull? biggrin
