Bauer Millet in Manchester are selling a brand new Centennial model.

This is the first Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition I have seen in the UK. It looks one mean looking Vette. Kind of like Darth Vader's Company car!

Not cheap but with lots of the ZR-1 bits on it. Very nice in the black and I think the only Vette you can have black in this year? A very rare Vette.

You are a sod sometimes as I was just about to post some pictures of it up. I don't like black cars but our Z06 is the nuts. Black is only available on Centennial models across the whole range and I expect this will be the only Centennial Edition to come to the U.K.

You gotta blame the exchange rates. I wonder what this would have cost 3 or 4 years ago.

To give you comparison the list price of a Z06 in 2006 was circa £65,000 OTR plus options. A standard Z06 now is £82,000 OTR plus options. The price bump on the Centennial is thanks to the edition package which is circa £4,000 as well as the 'Z07' Ultimate Performance Package, 'CFZ' Carbon Fibre Package and the Custom Leather Interior Package. It's essentially £3,000 a year in price increases which is not a million miles adrift of GM's average price increases of 4-5%.

I've wanted a Z06 for absolutely ages. Only thing that is stopping me is LHD (I've weighted the pros and cons at length and have two LHD classic cars, before anyone chirps up!).

Why, oh WHY won't Corvette produce a few RHD cars? Mitch?

Look at this!

Road and track recently tested around 30 super cars for 60mph to 0. A Z06 with the carbon brake package won. A much more expensive Porsche was a close second many super cars were way off. I'll see if I can find the link

You can always get one converted as we have to do in Aus. Silly prices I know but for the live of a Z06!!!

Should get my 08 in Feb.

These guys look like they do good work, but the £30,000 )I believe) cost associated with it is quite a shocker!

Then again, maybe Corvette have engineered the car (across the board) to be a LHD, so is the RHD conversion not thorough enough? Is it realy going to be the same car?

The C4 was terrible in RhD as the passenger footwell was tiny to start with compared to the drivers side. TBH I really really really don't get the point but there you go

Me neither, LHD is part of the experience.
