Hi - My first post here. I have just move to the UK, and brought my '75 corvette over. I was glad when it arrived, but unfortunately, it had sustained a bit a paint damage during transit. I am looking for recommendations on shops that may be able to help with touchup or repaint of my car. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Whilst they probably aren't local I've always rated Corvette Kingdoms work on older cars....

Welcome to the UK. The Vette looks very cool. Although I live in Surrey, I cant personally reccommend a body shop as I have not yet needed to use one for a Vette. However, did you know about the Surrey region of the Corvette Club? They meet on the second tuesday of each month near Cobham. There may well be experience to call on there. The meet is currently held at the Silvermere Golf Club from about 8 pm. If you need any more details, just ask and I will try to help.

I can recommend St Georges Coachworks in Camberley, Surrey who did some paintwork on my Viper after someone drove into it in a car park.

Pete and Wayne Darwell at Mech Spray in Rochester, Kent are Corvette specialists and did a free paint course for the CCCUK a little while back. They have been producing show winning paint jobs for ages - I can remember them winning awards at the height of the custom car scene in the 70s.

There isn't much on their website, but you will get the idea I guess.

ETA: Welcome to the UK and a very nice looking Vette you have there.
