Any Z06 tyres out there?

My C6 Z06 requires two new fronts to pass mot[worn on inside edges].I have tried my usual suppliers but have been told Goodyear not producing until mid October. I really could do with them now,any ideas?

Couple of suggestions,

Tried both.Nothing in stock. B.Millet do have some coming in from America in 14 working days,but dont think they will be E marked.I seem to think these should be okay for MOT but not sure about insurance.

I bought a set direct from tirerack a couple of years back. They arrived really quickly, were E marked and they were really helpful. They didnt take card though, had to transfer from US account

Can someone please explain the significance of the "E" mark as I am going to be needing some tyres myself in the not to distant future.

Last time I needed tyres I got Michelin PS2's. Front is OE fitment, rear is 345/30/19. National Tyre had several set of the rears in stock, fits fine, no rubbing, no issues with rolling radius change and no codes thrown by the DIC.

They're not runflats though, not a problem for me as I am only ever 30mins away from home living on an island...

More than happy enough with the deal I had.

Do not contact Bauer Millett by their 'contact us' website page. I tried over a week ago to get a battery for my Vette, have heard nothing, maybe their system is down!!

They also appear to supply various others outlets for Vette tyres.

For what it's worth to those Z06 owners out there we are now getting regular shipments of Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G:2's sent over. We had a set in stock until yesterday but we do have more en route. Prices are currently £400+VAT for fronts and £430+VAT for rears. Not cheap but the set we have on our Grand Sport have been pretty impressive and should wear better than G:1's.
