Hi Guys,

I sold my much loved Corvette Z06 a couple of years ago and moved on to another V8 (Still miss her).
I had a late spring clean of the garage and found the original floor mats (Black) as I replaced them with aftermarket custom ones.
If anyone wants them come along and have them for free. They are in excellent shape.
I'm in Worthing, West Sussex so pop by if you're passing and show my your Vette (I still miss you lot here in this forum).

Send me a PM

but you'd much rather have the Aston than the C6 Z06?

I also had a ZR1 for a short while too smile

I'm the biggest Corvette fan ever and owned around 10 since the late 80's. A Corvette was my first car!
It's hard to compare Aston Vantage (my current car) to the Corvette, they are two completely different cars. The new Gayden generation of Astons are reliable, and well bolted together. Both cars have that special sense of occasion and rarity while on the road and get the same amount of attention. The Corvette (Standard, Z06 & ZR1) wins hands down for raw torque and power and performance. I miss that 100%. But the Aston makes the best noise I've ever heard come from a V8 engine, thay have nailed this, sounds like a true V8 muscle car.

I know this is a touchy subject in Corvette World, but after Sitting in the Aston the Corvette interior really feels like sitting in a Toyota. I feel like I'm sitting in a 90K car in the Aston, unlike the 100K I paid for the ZR1. GM's argument doesn't really stand these days that you're buying power over quality as their prices have crept up.

My Corvette days are not over, I have a spare spot in the garage that needs to keep the Aston company....
