Sort of depends on a few factors.......1997 or 2004? Your age, post code, job, driving god? or driving cod? you know the drill.....mine was about £350 i.e. £1 per cubic inch smile

thsnks for that, thats pretty good

I'm paying about £300 for my C3 , low mileage garaged every night , got 6 points ( which is isn't viewed dimmly I don't believe) about 40 yrs old, not a risk profession as far as I know
When I moved house, my premium didn't change, so I'm assuming area is ok insurance risk wise.

My daily car is business use ( Audi) not garaged, high mileage etc etc thats £600, so use of a second car
I was looking for a ball park figure for a C5 really

Not quite what you're looking for... But I pay about £700 for a 2008 C6 convertible, only car, business use, modified. It'd be about £500-£550 if unmodified. So a C5 on limited mileage as a second car should be a lot less than that.

I've had mine on an Admiral multicar policy for a couple of years now. They work out reasonably competitive for my three cars - two daily drivers and the Vette on a limited mileage policy. Vette is approx £400/yr btw.

£404 FC for this year for a 2000 with limited 7500 miles, it went up by £50 but I couldn't find a lot much cheaper, I think most insurance went up this year.

Can't help with the C5 but was just thinking your C3 quote is a bit on the high side? Is that modified?

Yup. £300 for a 1999 with 5,000 miles. (Tax disc is cheap too! smile)

For good rates my suggestion is Adrian Flux and/or Classic Line.

I got my insurance from Stevenage Insurance Services Ltd
Telephone Number +44 1438 313 251

On my 2003 C5 Corvette 50th Anniversary

11/04/2008 – £358.65
14/06/2010 - £329.00

It has been around the same price for a while, and I have always found them to be very good, but they are no so competitive on a normal every day car, for that I use the AA at the moment.

I didn't ask for a CCCUK membership discount as I fogot about this. Apparently you can get away with out being a member and just say you are and they don't check do they Rob?

Another vote for Stevenage here

My premium is also around the same as the post above (for an '03 Coupe) - steady state for the last 3 renewals

In my case I've always found the (any) club membership is all a little arbitary and vague with SIS as I've never been asked to prove my (CCCUK) membership

With a modification list as long as my arm, I've always had a problem finding somebody who is willing to take it on.

Highway do it for around £500.

It's a while ago but I paid £400 for my C5 Z06 with Norwich Union Direct unlimited mileage.

Try Classicline for your C3 (and maybe even C5 in limited miles)
