Damn yankies American car show is on this weekend at North Weald in Essex about 20mins from the Dartford Tunnel.

Always a big turn out of American cars.

Also hard standing so If it rain's the night before you will still be fine.

Last time they also had quarter mile runs. Also Traders stalls etc. Always a good turnout of American cars. They normally have a advert in Classic American.

i think it is also the last damm yankies to be held at north weald so therefore weather permitting should be a good one.

Any reason why? I know they always use to be in Ongar Essex but the field was always waterlogged so they use the hard standing area now at North Weald.

I'm intending to do this show. I only live 5 minutes from the crossing, so If anyone is interested in meeting South of the Dartford crossing, say Azdas Greenhithe (or where ever) so we can pound through together, then I'm up for it.

Here are the details for this Sunday 7th.

We will be meeting at the wharf at 8.45 to leave at 9.00. If you are making your own way there the address is :-

North weald Airfield, Essex, CM16 6AA ( on the A414 between Harlow and Chipping Ongar, M11 Jct 7) when you get close to the airfield the show is always well signposted .
