More gifted than won actually, #4 started 6th and #3 back in 8th. Both were making no impression on the leaders when there was a full course caution and the P&M boys got the #4 car back out in 3rd. behind the Falken Porsche and #55 BMW the #56 got hit by one of the Ferraris leaving the pits so it dropped back to 5th place. The Falken Porsche then got a drive through for having too many people over the wall (probably explained the lightning pit stop). This promoted the #4 up to 2nd place behind the #55 BMW which cleverly ran into the back of the leading GTC Porsche and earned itself a drive through penalty 20 minutes from the end of the race handing the victory to the #4.
Both BMWs are due a restrictor change so that they are a bit slower and also the Porsche will get another 10kgs of weight to lug about before the next race. They should have had the smaller restrictor / more weight before the Mosport race except there was a cockup sending out the paperwork so the teams got it too late and it has now been delayed until the next race.
Without the caution period both the Corvettes would have finished back where they started.
