I found this after seeing one on US ebay. If i'd been told about it and not seen it i'd have said it would look crap! but I think these look great! I wonder if there's one in the UK yet?

Nice but why! This is great in the States if you want to stand out from all the other Vettes, But in Europe I think this would harm the value much more. Unless your not bothered then get stuck in. They do look cool..

It may offend the purists, but I think that is stunning! Just done some background research and it's about $90k for the conversion, on top of the cost of the donor car. Ouch...

I think they look terrible. The rake of the screen is totally at odds with the retro design and all the proportions are wrong. No better than an MR2 Ferrari IMHO in terms of aesthetics.

I think that's a little harsh. The MR2 kits are unsuccessfully (imo) trying to replicate the real thing where these are deliberately trying to blend old with new. I can't stand those MR2 kits but if someone somewhere was rebodying Ferrari 360 convertibles as 275 NART spyders then I would probably go for that too.

Not really comparable IMO. An Eagle E-type is far more than simply a modern car with a bodykit.

The closest Vette equivalent to an Eagle in this country is a '69 with C6 suspension and a twin-turbo'd ally smallblock. Cost around $230k to build in the US a few years ago.
