Well I'm excited about it anyway. Just thought I'd mention it as it's one of only two that I know of in the country right now.....

As much as I like the idea of the ZR1 (and for that matter the Z06) I couldn't bring myself to pay that kind of figure for a Vette no matter how much I liked it (even if I could afford it!). The 'used' price of 5/6 year old Z06's is still far too high (and I guess has been partly dictated by comparative rarity) - it is interesting how many 'early' Z06's have now 'come out of the woodwork' and gone on to the market following some of the elevated prices asked recently.

Oh man. what a beauty. Should I trade the Murcielago? wink

btw market forces ...rarity supports value, so I don't see in what respect z06 prices are too high. IMHO some would-be buyers have unrealistic expectations! [/hijack]

As far as I know our Velocity Yellow car is one of only two in the UK, which is why I ask. To say it is one of the most ridiculous cars I have ever driven is an understatement....

It depends on how scary your dreams are! Last time I was that conscious of how dangerous a car can be was when I got in my GT2 C5R! Haven't used an Abarth for a while but the 695's are a laugh with the MTA gearbox. M

The Z06 is a hell of a car for £40k. Add in exclusivity and it isn't overpriced. I've recently sold my 911 turbo (530bhp) to buy the Corvette and there is no comparision - for excitement, looks, character and even performance the 'Vette is a clear winner.
