Seat Replacement C5 Z06

Hi chaps

Has anyone replaced/upgraded seats ?
I saw something about the c6 z06 seats are a big improvement and my driver seat is getting worn, gives little lateral support.

I fitted race bucket seats to mine, they mount onto the stock seat rails.

THough I was thinking more along the lines of using the C6 seats

Drove to Hockenheim and back without problems, I find race seats very comfortable. These ones have proper cushions and assumung your not massively tall/short/fat you should be fine.

I'd want something with better side visibility for daily road use. If you buy the corvette specific seat brackets I expect that most of the corbeau rang will also fit them (along with cobra, sparco etc). Then you just need to check the measurements to make sure that they fit in the c5 tub.

I've just looked at the photo of the bracket and it's base mounted.

OMP seats are good value. I put a set in my Landrover in place of some tired Corbeau's last year. I seem to recall that the brackets needed spacing out about 1".
