Hi, all

I have a real trouble with my car and documents. I bought it UK, then export to Finlnd, I would like register it here, but have not V5. I know this car was a cat C and if car was in UK, then VIC test and form 62. This information I founded in forum. Problem is - car now repaired but in Finland. Who knows, maybe I can take V5C for export? Without V5 I can't register car here frown

Any ideas?

P.S. Sorry about my english smile

When I bought this car i thinking about VIC but car was damaged. How I know - car must be repaired on VIC test moment. If any have a question - why I bought car in UK, then I can say - car is Subaru Impreza P1, made only for UK market, only 1000 cars

You need a replacement V5, about a tenner from the DVLA, don't know if it would need to be sent to the registered adress or not.

Could someone write to the DVLA from the UK and ask for the V5 and then export it to finland?

No idea about the VIC bit

Unfortunately I think it's going to need a VIC to get a replacement V5, and I don't think there's any way round it. frown

Is the hassle the VIC then not the v5

Could you get a Q plate?

A Q plate is a non age related car for cars built of parts of unknown age. Seen as a big problem in the UK but if it is being exported to Finland It might not be a problem.

Can the VIC be done by a third party?

Whats is it - Q plate?
I have invoice and CMR, invoise from car seller and CMR from transportation company. I can check car identity here in Finland, but I think it will not accept from DVLA in UK.
