Matt, roadsweeper. I'll give you a clue. I live closer to Poynton than Macc and the nearset town with roads worse than this is Johanesburg. Also one of our councilors has just been done for performing lewd acts in public (Yes he was the champion green resposible for loads of daft bumps and bus lanes and shit and i hope I am on the jury). Shoot me an email sometime.

I am indeed going to Chatsworth - surely we have to meet-up and drive there in convoy, even though it's not very far!

Regarding the cameras, I went to Macc yesterday and didn't see any. Do you by any chance mean the ones on the way to Stockport just after the Fiveways (if coming from Poynton direction)? I noticed that these are pointing in the wrong direction and was wondering if they might be the front-on cameras, but I haven't check out the road markings yet so can't be sure.
For info, I've got a 1999 S-Reg Chimaera 4.0 in Imperial Blue.

I don't think I'm related to anyone called Simon. I couyld be wrong I've got bloody hundreds of cousins, uncles, 2nd cousins, third cousins, aunties etc.. He's not Irish by any chance is he?

If we go in convoy I promise not to use any more than 1/4 throttle
Incidentally, took on a brand-new Lotus Elise on the way to Oulton Park on Thursday. He caned it as we entered a National Speed Limit zone and I promptly reeled him in on lovely, long sweeping bend and then pulled out for the overtake as the road straighted (I'm not going say what speed we were doing at this point!) only to be denied by traffic coming the other way. 
Anyway, he drove like a granny for the rest of the time I was behind him - I love TVRs! 
I don't think Si Bachelor has any Irish connections so you're probably not related... though you never know with these things.
