On the A1000 in Potters Bar I got cought on camera doing 39 in a 30mph zone. It was a front facing camera.
The thing is that now they've written to me, all details are correct except that they have my name slightly wrong. The have put my middle name as my first name.
Am I still stuffed or is there anyway that having the wrong info on the notice might invalidate it?
If I alert them will they just send out another notice with the correct details?
I don't want to just ignore it.

They sent you a notice as the registered keeper asking who was driving at the time right ?

They haven't named you as the driver at the time - so how will them having the name the wrong way around get you out of this mess ?

At the end of the day, if you were doing 39 in a 30 you can't argue.

Fair and square mate. Just pay up and learn your lesson smile

Many thanks for the replies.
If it wasn't me posing the question I would have been saying exactly the same as you. I never for one moment had any doubt about my own guilt but wondered if the ticket would be invalid due to their clerical error. In addition, at the time, because the wrong information was entered on their system, it meant that I was unable to log on and view the visual evidence.
I was (up to that point) unnaware that front facing cameras were still used as there had been historic problems of people being caught on camera sitting next to people that they weren't supposed to be with.
I have now filled out and sent the form back.
