Using an LE850 for its intended purpose

Is anybody using their LE850 to remotely control their garage door? I am going to fit one to my Chimaera (LE850 that is, not a garage door!) and am also in the process of automating my garage door. Does anybody know if the LE850 receiver can be incorporated into any motorized door system?
