Guys a a few months ago whilst reversing into my parking space outside my property, i was hit from behind by some nob in a punto, luckily minor scratchs to bumper everything appears ok, punto a drive able but to soon be a write off. nice astra shapped bumper dent across the front of his punto.

Phoned my insurance and left it with them. Since heard back saying the guys insurance company are refusing to comment on liabilty so if i want the damage repairing its 350 excess.

The bumpers only gonna cost 100 to be sprayed but its not the point!

The guys was driving to fast for the wet conditions, i heard him skid and BANG! straight into me!

I was stationary and was just looking over my shoulder to judge if i had enough space, Indicator on and reverse lights on.

So whats the point of insurance? The guy was cleary at fault hitting a stationary vehicle but his insurance company refuse to comment. So if i want it fixing ive either got pay 350 excess, or pay 100 notes me self, or leave it as it is!

I had an accident at a roundabout in Reading. Phoned my own ins comp several times and they seemed to think I was at fault. 7 months later, out of the blue I receive cheque for recovery of excess, claim settled in my favour. Ins comps wont admit anything until they have to. Also small claims arent worthwhile anyway.

contact www.europaconsultants.co.uk - fill in the form on their website with all the relevant details. As long as you are not to blame they will do all the leg work for you - and even get you a courtesy car at the expense of the third party while yours is repaired. By the way I am in no way connected to Europa, other than they have dealt with a claim of mine in the past. Hope things work out for you mate.
