Camera Spin Doctor!?

Cleveland Traffic Safety Camera Group is considering employing a press office to improve the image of Speed Cameras! The £20,000 a year post has been suggested by the group which is made up of representatives from the police, magistrates, the local council and health groups.

Committee member, Paul Watson, said: "A press office could hammer home the positive benefits. That positive element is a 44% reduction in the death and serious injury toll on Cleveland roads."
