Just e-mailed Steve, he only covers staffordshire. Since I am in Devon its a little far away.

Anyone else?

Phoned Snooper direct, they cant offer anything either. I find this odd as you can only have their word that it works. Since Snooper are excellent in all their other products I have to assume its all good...!

I have actually tested my own system with 3 tv remotes.
the procedure is to have a black and white video camera facing the jammer, then press one button on each remote while aiming them at the jammer.
If its working youll see the jammer firing back in sync(well actually infilling) and if enough pulses are present the jammer will audibly alert. Basically you have to have enough ir pulses to trigger the audible alert signal, but you will notice that the jammer will fire back at the remote even if it dosent alarm.
Only applies to SLD920.
Happy testing!

Mine is the SLD920 dude. Will give it a try later. Thanks for the info!

Have you ever had the thing go off for real?

Yer a bit too far South for me, otherwise I would have given it a go. 'jammers' are a bit of a waste of time in our Force area though at the moment, we have been directed to concentrate more on 'street crime', so the laser is sat in the office gathering dust. Maybe I should put in a suggestion that we gather a bit of revenue from testing 'jammers' and 'detectors'.

Certainly is a good time to visit, unless you are a burglar or a robber, looks like our bosses have been listening to the motoring public I'm sureI have heard the phrase "why don't you go and catch some burglars, they are the real criminals" a few times. But I better not tell you where it is I,ve still got a fatal RTA that needs finishing off, and I could certainly do without picking up any more before Chrissy. Mind you if we do get in a chase now we have a new weapon, we have just had one of our V70 T5's converted to carry a dog so a few will get a surprise when they bail out and leg it, we can just sit back and wait for Fido to catch the little scroate. If you thought Coppers were bas!"*ds you want to see a Police dog, bite first ask questions later.

Oh well. If you find the unstoppable urge to test my jammer (ideally when I know in advance!) then drop me an email: simon @ reAnimate . co . uk
