Looks like a rip off to me.

Geodesy with red lights on the front : £320.

Geodesy with a screen : £495.

Errm, Surely it doesn't cost that much to bolt an LCD display on?

Oh, and if you want it to detect radar : £795

Saw this at the motor show, the one feature it has which would be nice to include in geodesy is the database of mobile camera hotspots. Personally I think the £500 price plus £55/yr annual fee is way too high. esp as the warning is a poor quality voice which can't be heard in a softtop. I was even told to turn it down from the 100% setting as it would damage the device! If 100% causes damage - re-design it!

My standard Geodosey has started bleeping at a local regular 'Hot Spot' so they may now be on the normal database anyway

Very similar, it doesn't seem to reach full strength on the LED's though, but as the 'Hot Spot' is outside a local Hosiptal, and when it's been going off I've been in the Hospital grounds I've been turning the bleep off at the button as soon as it starts chirping away

If you are looking for something with radar and gps camera but none of the other stuff then have a look at the snooper S6-R / NEO this is going to be 499.

Have seen at the Motorshow but not yet seen working to see how the database compares to the established GPS players.

We're planning on reviewing this unit in the next 2-3 weeks.
