Is this a speed camera?

Is this a speed camera? It has a speed camera sign on it.

It seems to have three cameras and an infra-red light?

It's a red light camera for the chuffer crossing.

Could be a height sensor to warn/protect the overhead wires.
The height warning signs before the yellow pole on Google maps is the clue.

How would that work, there is nowhere to "display" a warning if the height is exceeded?

Although it would be good if this could be done as it would stop the numbers of high vehicles hitting bridges every year.

Red light cameras,look in the distance and there is another one monitoring traffic from the other direction.

I have the same cameras on the same style of half barrier crossing just up my road.

Thanks. I can see it now. Each pole has two cameras and two IR lights.

quite possibly a new style red light/mobile phone/speed camera.

My son got a nip for crossing a level crossing on a flashing light . The document showed his speed along with the picture of his car beyond the barrier with the lights flashing.
We often talk about that in our family as it was several years ago, he completed the request for driver details and to this day never heard anything else .
The cameras look the same as the picture shown.
