HMCTS case look-up

Is there a way of looking to see what a case was all about without needing to apply for an account on the common platform and all the crap that goes with it? I have an 8 digit reference number ending with a D and unknown to me there was a court case held at "North Yorkshire Area Office" back in February but the HMCS helpline guy said there a mismatch in the info I provided him with and would need further investigation as I'd not passed "security". It's apparently car tax related but he wouldn't say anything further.
