Soon to be Groom had no insurance for rented Lamborghini
Discussion
On his way to his wedding when stopped for speeding and Plod discover he is unable to prove he has insurance.
Car seized and potential 6 points plus fine.
Presumably it's rented, so why would you not get some insurance for such a "visible" car?

Agreed. Amazing a rental company would alow their supercar to be driven without insurance.
At a wild guess it's one of the more "underground" rental businesses renting to family, extended and friends...There are companies that rent "Supercars" for weddings and other events that can be parked on the drive, sat in, but not driven. I can't see the point but there must be a demand for it. Suppose they leave the keys so that you can lock and unlock, temptation must have gotten the better of them.
One better than flowers I suppose.

I've never heard of that, but it strikes me that leaving the keys without immobilising the car would be bonkers.Gassing Station | Speed, Plod & the Law | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
