My wife. Not me this time. Caught on camera.

Likely outcome? From what I have read, she may be offered a course.

Almost certainly a course (provided she has not done one for a similar offence in the three years prior to this one).

They are normally offered up to (Limit+10%+9mph).

The upper threshold for a course is 64 mph. 60/50 mph is very likely to be a motorway awareness course.

If not eligible then £100 fixed penalty with 3 points.

Jaglad is the latest forum Walt. Ignore. He means the same course.

My wife also got caught at the same place, same speed on our house-move day.

Motorway awareness course was the outcome, ~3 hours on a Zoom call.

Indicated 60 mph?? If so, highly likely she was only actually doing 55-57 mph. Most cars are deliberately not 100% accurate, and that's before tyre wear etc. is considered.
Every chance that may slip though and get lucky.

As the OP said "caught on camera" I am going to guess that she was caught on camera and therefore won't "slip through the net".

That’s correct. NIP states 60 in a 50.
