Parking Eye - Incorrect Car Park Location
Discussion
The wife has got herself a Parking Eye Parking Charge Notice - went to a local coffee shop, spent 2 hours gossiping with friends, car park limit is less than that, so bang to rights really. I'm also minded to pay because the time it will take to fight it is just not worth it and as I said, she's bang to rights.
However, the address where this took place is incorrect on the notice - I'm not going to put too much detail on here in case Parking Eye are looking out for these sort of questions.
The error is quite significant, as the place name doesn't exist in the UK as a result of their error.
What do people think - a likely cause to win an appeal?

There is a photo - I don't think there is any defence at all - bang to rights, as I said, inclined to pay. They didn't even buy multiple coffees - just one coffee each and too much time talking.
I'm going to submit an appeal - not all of the address information is incorrect, but as it's a business park and the town is essentially made up - it's worth a punt I guess.

I had something similar, don't think it was parking eye though. Parked on a double yellow line on a Sunday to pop into Eurocarparts and got a ticket from a private company with photos take via CCTV. The location given was the name of the warehouse adjacent to the road, which presumably was the "private" access road to the warehouse, which also gave allowed access to a number of other businesses. I appealed on the grounds that I was not parked in address given, also the signs were inadequate and facing the wrong way. I can't remember how far it went but I got it quashed.
Have a look on pepipoo and get some advice, there are lots of ways to successfully appeal private parking fines. I have had a few and always found a way to successfully appeal (so far!).

Pepipoo is defunct and has been for some time. These are the sites to visit. The second one is more in depth.Have a look on pepipoo and get some advice, there are lots of ways to successfully appeal private parking fines. I have had a few and always found a way to successfully appeal (so far!).

Unfortunately a considerable percentage of people fail to do their homework BEFORE communicating with a PPC.
