Quick one, a colleague has been pulled over twice in last 2 days in a company car and as soon as they have identified themselves they have been let on their way. Would this happen if a report had been maliciously made? Officers have not given details at the time as to why despite being asked.

Would a FOI request to the force in question from me (as owner of the company and company car) show if something like this had happened?

We have our suspicions. Both times they've said they'll make a note on the system but I can imagine this to become more than mildly irritating should it keep happening.

Would they not say that was the case or give more information or perhaps offer some advice on how to sort it? Rather than the feeling they were looking for someone in particular who may be driving it.

If there was any marker on the car it would fall under an FOI exemption, so an FOI request would not reveal anything.
