Looks like the courts have got fed up with their excuses and blatant contempt.

Good. Wish they had all got life. Bunch of fkwits, If they had put their heads together, all they would have come up with is a wood hut.

Hallam said in a statement during the trial: “The corruption of our judges by the carbon state has crossed a line in the sand.
I don't think questioning the honesty of the Judge was the smartest of moves hehe

Fantastic news!

And decent lengths too, none of this 3 months inside and released after a few weeks.

Agree. I'd have got out and battered them if caught up in that chaos.

Have we got the prison space for them though?

I'd move a few out of Armley to make some space, might aswell get the full experience

I'm sure Charles Bronson won't mind sharing a cell with one of them

Cressida is allegedly 22.

She must have had a hard paper round as I'd say she looks mid 40's!

They'll probably go on hunger strike if the prison food isn't carbon neutral.

I would have liked to see their smug faces as the sentences were handed down.

I doubt any of them need to live in the real world where a criminal record can be an issue but still, they'll not be out in time for Christmas.

Yes. Labour want to release prisoners after 40% of sentence so 2 years out of 5. If he'd have got the maximum of 10 years he'd do 4 which is still not long enough.

Edit. Quoted the wrong post..

I can't do it.

Can anyone calculate their carbon footprint per sentence?

Absolutely no sympathy whatsoever. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Imagine throwing away your life for some idealogical cause. Nutjobs; they'll probably have a rough time of it in prison too, if they get all preachy to their fellow inmates who are not too likely to give much toss for their whingy, vegan, anti-oil spoutage of utter bks.

"Prosecutors alleged the protests, which saw 45 people climb up the gantries, led to an economic cost of at least £765,000, while the cost to the Metropolitan Police was more than £1.1 million."

Who the hell calculated that???

Also their figures...

"They also allegedly caused more than 50,000 hours of vehicle delay, affecting more than 700,000 vehicles, and left the M25 'compromised' for more than 120 hours."

How much does the Met cost to run? laugh

I wouldn’t imagine it’s far from the truth… met have to pay the prosecution costs and not every one of those 700k vehicles was delayed for more than 5 mins…. It’s also exactly the stats that say why it’s impossible for any sensible person to have sympathy for the fk wit instigators.
