Snoopers illegal again???

In today's Autocar, there was a small article about TVR fitting GPS detectors to the Tuscan S instead of radar detectors because, quote "radar detectors are about to be banned by the Government"

Anyone shed any light on this??

I also read that the wording of the proposal included any "detection" equipment. Guess they'll be around to remove my eyes then!!
